Terms of Service

1. Introduction
Welcome to Remote My Job (“the Agency,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing or using our website www.remotemyjob.com or our recruitment and staffing services (“Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use our Services.
2. Services Provided
Remote My Job acts as an intermediary between employers (“Clients”) and candidates (“Candidates”) by:

Identifying, screening, and placing candidates with Clients.

Managing aspects of the recruitment and onboarding process.

Providing post-placement support.
-
Offering optional add-on services such as systems analysis, process builds, automations, and training.
3. Recruitment Fee Models
We offer two fee structures:

Option 1: Once-Off Fee (Most Popular)

Placement Fee: 50% of the Candidate’s first month’s salary (paid upfront).

Candidate’s First Month Salary: Paid upfront and held by the Agency until successful completion of the first month.

Post-Placement Support: 3 months of performance support.

Ongoing Agency Cut: None.

Option 2: Monthly Model (Ongoing Support)

Placement Fee: 10% of the Candidate’s monthly salary, payable each month.

Candidate’s First Month Salary: Paid upfront and held by the Agency until successful completion of the first month.

Ongoing Support: Regular check-ins with Client and Candidate, with replacement guarantee if performance metrics are not met.

Additional services are quoted separately.
4. Payment Terms

All fees are payable upfront or as otherwise agreed.

Invoices must be settled within 7 calendar days.

Late payments may result in suspension of services, withholding of salary disbursements, or termination of placement.

Fees are non-refundable except as explicitly stated in the relevant recruitment package.
5. Performance Guarantee
If a Candidate does not meet agreed-upon performance metrics within the support period, we will provide a replacement Candidate at no additional placement fee, provided the Client has met all payment obligations.
6. Candidate and Client Responsibilities

Clients must provide accurate job descriptions, expectations, and working conditions.

Candidates must provide truthful information in résumés and interviews.

Remote My Job is not responsible for misrepresentation by either party.
7. Confidentiality
Both Clients and Candidates agree to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive business and personal information obtained through the recruitment process.
8. Limitation of Liability
Remote My Job serves solely as a recruitment intermediary. We are not liable for:

The performance, conduct, or suitability of any Candidate once employed.

Losses, damages, or claims arising from employment relationships established through our Services.
Our total liability is limited to the fees paid by the Client under the specific engagement.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate the engagement with written notice. Termination does not relieve the Client from paying outstanding fees owed.
10. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of The Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
